Do You Watch Movies Together?

Published by rusty at 8:00 pm under marriage Edit This

Do you watch movies together as a couple? If not, why? Yes, I know, I know: your husband likes action and war movies and you can’t stand all that shooting; vice versa, you like romance, and there is not one romantic cell in his brain (you think).

Nevertheless, I am sure there are many, many good movies you can both watch and enjoy. Of course, you will have to search for them, but believe me, it is well worth the effort. Read online forums and message boards for movie recommendations, browse customer reviews for movies on Amazon.com. You don’t have to spend a fortune on DVD’s, either: check your local library. Ours has a very good selection of movies.

I thought I did not like war movies, either, but I have watched some with my husband that I liked. He, on the other hand, has learned to appreciate classics like Pride & Prejudice. Expanding your horizons is fun, you will be surprised to enjoy movies you’d never think you might like.

It’s so true-there are some you can watch together. Like you, we watch what each other likes-take turns and we are both still living and happily married. Good thoughts!
